Memorial Day

Joyce Kilmer was a Catholic American poet. He fought in France during the First World War. Not long before he died in the Battle of the Marne he wrote:  "Lord, thou didst suffer more for me, Than all the hosts of land and sea. So let me render back again, This millionth of Thy gift. Amen."

Thanks be to God for all those brave souls who died fighting for our freedom.
May the Rest in Eternal Peace.
