We adore You, O Sacred Heart Which ached in the garden for Your Bride. Willing Your Sacred Feet To take you into the marriage chamber. We adore You, O Sacred Heart Moved to willingly walk to Your Passion, Those Sacred Feet That did not shake off Her dust. We adore You, O Sacred Heart Receiving the blows from an unwitting bride, Those Sacred Feet Standing firm in Eternal Love. We adore You, O Sacred Heart And Your feet which did not run, When the thorns pierced, Your Heart steadfast in passionate Love.
